Introduction

Searchanise supports integration with multiple apps which enable you to collect product reviews.

If you switch on the integration with one of these apps, product ratings and the number of reviews will automatically pop up in Searchanise widgets.

Integration instructions

Product Reviews

The Product Reviews app is the review tool offered by Shopify.

Note
The Products Reviews app and the Stamped.io Reviews & UGC app are completely different apps with their own separate review systems.

Important
Before integrating the Product Reviews app with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure both apps are installed in your store.

To integrate the Smart Search & Filter app with the Product Reviews app, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
2. Set the toggle for Product Reviews to On. 
3. Apply the changes.
4. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from the Product Reviews app in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll also be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

Ali Reviews

The Ali Reviews - Product Reviews app is an advanced reviews app that enables you to collect and import reviews from many sources.

Important
Before integrating the Ali Reviews - Product Reviews app with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure both apps are installed in your store.

To integrate the Smart Search & Filter app with the Ali Reviews app, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
2. Set the toggle for Ali Reviews to On. 
3. Apply the changes.
4. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from the Ali Reviews app in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

Yotpo

The Yotpo Product Reviews & Photos app collects product reviews, photo reviews, site reviews, and ratings.

Important
Before integrating the Yotpo app with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure both apps are installed in your store.

If you've installed the Smart Search & Filter app after March 29, 2020, to integrate it with the Yotpo app, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
2. Set the toggle for Yotpo to On. 
3. Click the appeared Connect button. You will be redirected to the Yotpo app.
4. Enter your credentials if it is the first time you log in. 
5. Click the Authorize button to switch the integration on in the Access request message form. You will be redirected back to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section. 
6. Re-index your store by clicking the re-force indexation link in the orange notice that will appear at the top, or by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from the Yotpo app in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

If you've installed the Smart Search & Filter app before March 29, 2020, to integrate it with the Yotpo app, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
2. Set the toggle for Yotpo to On.
3. Go to the Yotpo admin panel and find your Yotpo App Key and Secret Key. 
4. Paste your Yotpo App Key and Secret Key into the corresponding fields. 
5. Apply the changes.
6. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from the Yotpo app in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

Growave Reviews

The Growave ‑ Loyalty, Wishlist +3 app by Growave is an all-in-one solution that includes reviews, wishlist, social login, loyalty program tools, and other features. Searchanise is integrated with Growave Reviews and Wishlist.

Before integrating the Growave ‑ Loyalty, Wishlist +3 app with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure both apps are installed in your store.

To integrate the Smart Search & Filter app with Growave Reviews, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
2. Set the toggle for Growave Reviews to On. 
3. Apply the changes.
4. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from the Growave ‑ Loyalty, Wishlist +3 app in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll also be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

Judge.me

The Judge.me Product Reviews app collects ratings and reviews of products and Shopify stores.

Important
Before integrating the Judge.me app with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure both apps are installed in your store.

To integrate the Smart Search & Filter app with Judge.me, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Judge.me app control panel > More > Settings > Integrations > Storefront. 
2. Find the Nextopia/Searchanise section and select Searchanise. 
3. Save the changes.
4. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
5. Set the toggle for Judge.me to On.
6. If you want to enable search products by their reviews, follow these steps:
   1. Find the Shop API token in the Judge.me control panel > Settings > Integrations > Developers > Private token section. 
   2. Select the Search products by reviews setting and paste your Shop API token into the corresponding field. 
7. Apply the changes.
8. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from the Judge.me app in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll also be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

The Judge.me app also imports product reviews from different sources at certain intervals, and these updates might not be imported immediately after the indexation is complete.

Okendo.io

The Okendo: Product Reviews & UGC app is a customer marketing platform and an Official Google Reviews partner that collects product ratings and reviews.

Important
Before integrating the Okendo app with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure both apps are installed in your store.

To integrate the Smart Search & Filter app with Okendo, follow these steps:

1. Contact Okendo to get your Okendo User ID. 
2. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
3. Set the toggle for Okendo to On.
4. Paste your Okendo User ID into the corresponding field. 
5. Apply the changes.
6. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section. 

That's it. You will see Okendo reviews in the Smart Search & Filter widgets within 24 hours since the indexation is complete. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

Note
Okendo reviews feed is updated daily at 03:00 UTC. Searchanise updates reviews accordingly.

Loox Reviews

The Loox Product Reviews & Photos app allows you to collect visual reviews with photos and display them in beautiful galleries.

Important
Before integrating the Loox Product Reviews & Photos app with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure both apps are installed in your store.

To integrate the Smart Search & Filter app with Loox Product Reviews & Photos, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
2. Set the toggle for Loox Reviews to On. 
3. Apply the changes.
4. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from the Loox Product Reviews & Photos app in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll also be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

Stamped.io

The Stamped.io Reviews & UGC app collects and displays product reviews.

Note
The Stamped.io Reviews & UGC app and the Products Reviews app from Shopify are completely different apps with their own review systems.

Before integrating the Stamped.io app with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure both apps are installed in your store.

To integrate the Smart Search & Filter app with the Stamped.io app, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
2. Set the toggle for Stamped.io to On.
3. Paste your Stamped.io API Key Public and API Key Private into the corresponding fields. You can find the API keys in the Stamped.io app > Settings > API keys tab. See the Stamped.io instructions. 
4. If you want to enable search products by their reviews, select the Search products by reviews setting.
5. Apply the changes.
6. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from the Stamped.io app in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll also be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

CM Commerce

The Email Marketing by CM Commerce app allows you to automate your e-commerce marketing with out-of-the-box recipes and visual product reviews.

Important
Before integrating the CM Commerce app with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure both apps are installed in your store.

To integrate the Smart Search & Filter app with CM Commerce, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
2. Set the toggle for CM Commerce to On.
3. Paste the CM Commerce API key into the corresponding field. You can find it in the CM Commerce admin panel > the Account section. See the Campaign Monitor instructions. 
4. Apply the changes.
5. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from the CM Commerce app in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll also be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

The Rivyo Product Reviews & QA app allows you to collect product reviews and display them to your customers.

Before integrating the Rivyo app with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure both apps are installed in your store.

To integrate the Smart Search & Filter app with Rivyo, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
2. Set the toggle for Rivyo to On. 
3. Apply the changes.
4. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from the Rivyo app in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll also be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

Shopper Approved

The Product Ratings & Reviews solution by Shopper Approved allows you to collect product reviews and display them to your customers.

Important
Before integrating Shopper Approved with the Smart Search & Filter app, make sure the Smart Search & Filter app is installed in your store and your store is integrated with Shopper Approved.

To integrate the Smart Search & Filter app with Shopper Approved, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Integrations section > Product reviews part.
2. Set the toggle for Shopper Approved to On.
3. Paste your Shopper Approved Site ID and API Token into the corresponding fields. You can find them in the Shopper Approved dashboard > API docs. 
4. Apply the changes.
5. Re-index your store by clicking the Force re-indexation button in the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Dashboard section.

That's it. After the indexation is complete, you can view ratings and the number of reviews from Shopper Approved in the Smart Search & Filter widgets. Besides, you'll also be able to filter and sort by reviews. See Using Products Reviews in the widgets.

Using Products Reviews in the widgets

Instant Search Widget

The Instant Search Widget shows product ratings in the product preview.

You can change the default yellow color or size of the review stars using the Custom CSS feature and the div.snize-ac-results .stars-container CSS selector:

To use Custom CSS, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Instant search widget section > Custom CSS tab.
2. Enable the Use custom CSS setting.
3. Paste the CSS rule to change the appearance of the review stars. For example, to change the color of the review stars, use the following CSS rule:

   div.snize-ac-results .stars-container:after {
       color: #841911;
   }

   To change the size of the review stars, use the following CSS rule: 

   div.snize-ac-results .stars-container {
   font-size: 20px;
   }

4. Apply the changes.

Search Results Widget

The Search Results Widget:

1. Filters products by ratings
2. Sorts products by ratings or total reviews
3. Shows ratings and amount of reviews in the product preview
4. Shows ratings and amount of reviews in the "Quick view" popup

You can change the default yellow color or size of the review stars using the Custom CSS feature and the CSS selectors:

• div.snize .stars-container - the stars on the page
• .snize-modal-content-wrapper .stars-container - the stars in the "Quick View" popup

To use Custom CSS, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Search results widget section > Custom CSS tab.
2. Enable the Use custom CSS setting.
3. Paste the CSS rule to change the appearance of the review stars. For example, to change the color of the review stars on the page and in the "Quick View" popup, use the following CSS rule:

   div.snize .stars-container:after, .snize-modal-content-wrapper .stars-container:after {
       color: #fec602;
   }

   To change the size of the review stars on the page and in the "Quick View" popup, use the following CSS rule: 

   div.snize .stars-container, .snize-modal-content-wrapper .stars-container {
       font-size: 20px;
   }

4. Apply the changes.

Upsell & Cross-sell Widget

The Upsell & Cross-sell Widget displays product ratings in the product preview of the recommendation block.

You can change the default yellow color or size of the review stars to the desired one using the Custom CSS feature and the div.snize-recommendation-results .snize-reviews .stars-container CSS selector. To do that, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Smart Search & Filter control panel > Upsell & Cross-sell section > Settings tab.
2. Enable the Use custom CSS setting.
3. Paste the CSS rule to change the appearance of the review stars. For example, to change the color of the review stars, use the following CSS rule:

   div.snize-recommendation-results .snize-reviews .stars-container::after {
       color: #841911;
   }

   To change the size of the review stars, use the following CSS rule: 

   div.snize-recommendation-results .snize-reviews .stars-container {
